Radical Images is a collective of photographers specialising in traditional documentary photojournalism working on long and short-term projects. We cover human rights, social justice, race, religion, environmental issues, and other topics that don't always lend themselves to simplistic categorisation.

The aim of our photographers' collective is to document issues principally in the UK, and in so doing provide a clear visual reality of the aggressors, the victims, the conflict itself, its causes, possible resolution, and its costs and impact.

	Gary Austin :: Photographer Gary Austin is working on short and long term projects surrounding social justice, human rights and environmental issues. Gary is currently working on environmental protests in Derbyshire as well as doing a social documentary project in a Derbyshire town. Gary also does fine art photography in the art nude genre that he supplies to collectors and is always looking for models
	Mike Langridge :: Photographer Mike Langridge covers protests and demonstrations, particularly those with antiwar, civil liberties, or environmental themes. He's also working on an informal longer-term project compiling a photographic record of his home county of Bedford
	Tim Rawlings :: Photographer Tim Rawlings is involved in photojournalism and documentary photography. He work on long term projects concerning the environment, and environmental activism. Other projects include documenting long term dereliction and the way nature regains the land as humans leave it to waste. Tim is also documenting the changes in his home town of Derby due to developments. Tim also does landscape and fine art photography. With a background of working as a life model then he is keen to use the figure in his art work.

	Ranjan Dharan :: Photographer Ranjan Dharan was born in 1982 in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. As the civil war escalated it became unsafe for the family to stay in Sri Lanka and when Ranjan was two years old they moved to europe. Always having been fascinated by images and especially photography, he incidentally grabbed a camera in 2001 and started to explore his visual mind. The possibility of conserving not only a scenery but also emotions on film had a huge impact on his mind and after having studied media communication for three years already, his passion for imagery became a desire wanting to be fulfilled every day. And while he learned photography autodidactically he exptended his technical knowledge. Since 2007 Ranjan is working as a contract photographer. Although always shooting, when not on assignment Ranjan enjoys travel, music, and films. He currently undertakes social and humanitarian projects around the world, covering topical issues, which he feels passionate about. Amnesty International Australia held a exhibition, Cries of the Voiceless, with his photos in central Sydney on highlighting human rights abuses and violence in June 2008. Further he participated in the international UNICEF Photo of the Year contest in 2008. His photos have also been shown at the international UN Week 2008 in Norway.
